Pickled Fish Block / Strippy Sampler/Current Project with Chris Jurd - Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th November, 2024.

Chris Jurd has been designing and quilting for over thirty years and teaches internationally. She is well-known for her vibrant use of colour in bold geometric and curved designs, which use foundation piecing.

Learn the foundation pieced version of the Pickled Dish Block (one or two days) or the Strippy Sampler (two days).  Or you may prefer to bring a current Chris Jurd project you are working on.  In class you will learn to create the Pickle block by machine, using foundation papers and curved seams.  Working with larger prints you will be guided on colour value and scale.  Make a single block as a learning process or make additional blocks to create a quilt top.  The Strippy Sampler includes curved piecing, free-form sewing and wonky piecing techniques.  

Date -  Saturday, 16th November & Sunday 17th November,2024. (9.30am to 4pm).

Teaching Cost -  $180.00 for two days

                            ($95.00 for one day - either Saturday or Sunday - book from Chris Jurd one day workshop listing).

Includes morning tea and tea/coffee.  (Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch from one of the surrounding cafe's.  Pattern and supplies are additional).
